The Four Oaks Ferret
The week before half term we had a very unusual visitor in school. One morning there was a cry from outside the Bumblebee classroom that there was "something in the bushes". Upon investigation Mrs Vickers found our furry friend hiding in the undergrowth and brought her into the warm of the classroom. The visitor turned out to be a very tame ferret and after spending a day with a very excited class of Year 1 pupils and a very excited Mrs Morris, the ferret was taken to the vets from where a very relieved young owner picked him up later.
