Safeguarding & Child Protection
Four Oaks Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
We have 6 Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) with responsibility for Child Protection and they are:
Mr Benton (Head Teacher) Miss Appleby (Deputy Head Teacher) Mrs Morris (Inclusion Manager) Miss Glynn (EYFS Teacher) Mrs McCartney (FOSBACS Manager) Mrs Talabani (FOSBACS Deputy Manager) |
We recognize that some children may be the victims of neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse, and all staff are well placed to identify such abuse and respond quickly and effectively. If you do have a concern about a child’s well-being, then please report this to Mr Benton or any member of staff as an initial point of contact. Alternatively you may ring Children’s Social Care Services directly on 0121 303 1888.

We also work collaboratively with Birmingham Children's Trust, Birmingham City Council and West Midlands Police in a joint operation called Operation Encompass. You can read more about this by clicking on the Parents' Letter link below.
