Tie Dye in the Year 5 Art Club
The Year 5 pupils in Mr Cope's Art Club have been having a fantastic time looking at the effects of "Tie Dye". Tie dye is a term invented in the mid-1960s in the United States and the process of tie-dye typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric or a garment and binding with string or rubber bands, followed by application of dye. The children had a go at using this technique on their shirts, bags and even socks ! Why not take a look at their final efforts in the slideshow below !
