Y5 at the National Space Centre
As part of Science Week, Year 5 had two fantastic trips: one visit was to the National Space Centre in Leicester, and one was to King Edward's Grammar School in Edgbaston. At the National Space Centre the pupils had the chance to investigate all things "spacey", including many interactive displays and items from the history of the space race. At King Edward's they went inside an inflatable planetarium and then got the chance to be real scientists in the school's science labs.
