The children's author, Chris Naylor-Ballesteros will be visiting school on 16th April as part of the promotional tour for his new book.
He will be visiting the infants to do an assembly and will also do a workshop with both Year One classes. There is the opportunity to pre-order a book, which he will then sign on the day, personalised to your child/children. Please follow the link if you wish to order a copy.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to take cash on the day, you will have to pre-order via the link if you wish to order a copy to be signed.
On the same day, Tuesday 16th April, ex-pupil, and now published author, Emily Harper, will be coming into school for an assembly with the Junior children. Hopefully this will inspire our budding writers to know that someone who once attended this school has had a book published. Her book, 'The Miniature Mermaid of Zennor' will be available to be purchased via card machine at the end of the school day. If children (with their parents) line up in the Junior main entrance, she will be available to sell the book to you at a discounted price and will also sign it for you.
If your child is interested in purchasing one, please ask them to let their teacher know before the end of this week so we can contact the author and let her know how many copies to bring.
