A celebratory day when we return after Easter.
As you may well know, this year marks the 80th Anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe, End of WW2). The nation will be having a bank holiday on Monday 5th May as part of the country’s celebrations. Thursday 8th May marks actual VE day – the 80th anniversary, and we would like to celebrate this in school.
