After listening to children and parents we have worked with Educaterers to remove some of the less popular meal choices and replace them with new meals, based on meals we know the children previously enjoyed from City Serve. In addition, Educaterers will endeavour to provide a meat free option, if possible, to the offered meat meal, e.g. if hot dogs are on offer, then they will provide alternative vegetarian option of the same meal, so the children feel included. We have also asked for the bread roll to be swapped for a baguette style as this was the children's preference. Next week it will start on 'Week 2' of the menu choices.

We now ask all parents to make a decision on whether their child wishes to have school meals. If they do you can be selective on the days you choose, but these days must always be the same (e.g. you can choose a Monday, Wednesday and Friday but these will remain the same each week). Or children can have school dinners every day, or sandwiches every day.
