We now feel that our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils have settled so well into coming into our new school building, that we know longer require them to line up with their teachers on the playground at the start of the day.

A couple of times recently, when it has been really rainy in the morning, we have allowed our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils to walk straight into school, and they have coped with it brilliantly.

We will have staff standing in strategic places around the outside of the building to make sure that the children walk to the correct doors.

Our Reception pupils will continue to line up with their teachers on the playground every day.
